My outlook is stuck on the new version. How to go back to classic version?

My email does not have the toggle option in the top right corner to get the classic outlook back. There is no longer the old outlook in the store either. I have also tried the steps in registry editor and that didn’t work out either.

Does your computer have OUTLOOK.EXE under the following path?

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16?

DO you have both Outlook icons in your Start menu?

Finally after 25 pages someone posts the solution. It worked for me. Thanks Hal Hostetler SO MUCH! Basically, to expand on his solution what you do is this

    1. In the crappy new Outlook, go to the help menu like he shows.
    2. Click on the "Go to classic Outlook" button. It will send you to this web page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/you-can-t-open-classic-outlook-on-a-new-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5
    3. Click the blue Download button and save the stub installer to someplace on your local drive.
    4. Run the setup stub program you just saved. It will ask you to save your work in any open office documents - you should probably just exit out of all office apps. It will then download the rest of the software and at some point ask you for your phone number and email address that you use for your Microsoft365 subscription.
    5. Then it will optionally ask if you want to be able to look at other email programs in Outlook or look at Outlook emails in the other program, such as yahoo.com or gmail.com.
    6. Then classic Outlook should be installed and you can find it either by typing classic into the search bar or find it under the Start menu.
    7. Right click on the Classic Outlook icon and select "Pin to taskbar" and unpin the crappy new Outlook by right clicking on its icon.
    8. After some time, try the new Outlook again and see if they've fixed enough of the numerous problems with it to entice you to use it again.

The button to return to Classic Outlook was moved to the help tab:
