the sender refers to the smtp server in that specific message, which is hotmail. The return for too many recipients has a different code

yes support case to the provider. for hotmail this would be hotmail support. You can find their support options here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/how-to-get-support-for-outlook-com-f5482a98-616c-4d44-b7c5-8aaaadf5c11a They can help you configure the correct settings. Not all free services offer dkim. They can tell you what upgrade you might need for this or you would need to use a provider that offers dkim.

It's a hotmail.fr domain and no one is responsible for the domain name except Microsoft. Good luck contacting them and asking them to add whatever DNS records. It's not your domain name.

    FYI

you're teaching someone who does mail administration for a living. I understand you try to help but you're replying to the wrong people (mail admins). Perhaps you know something that I don't. Please explain how you can configure SPF, DMARC, DKIM record for a domain that isn't yours (for example: hotmail.fr)? I'd be happy to learn something new.

The following is what I'm interested to find out so tell us how to configure DMARC and DKIM on Microsoft's domain hotmail.fr?

    >> In cases of free email providers, you will need to look up how to configure dmarc and dkim settings on that providers email.
