    i was able to access WIX and the DNS modification page. when I attempt to copy and past the following text in the value:

    v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

    I get an exclamation mark saying that I need to enter a valid ipv4 address or range.

    what am I doing wrong?

    My guess is you weren't doing a TXT record and rather you were trying to create an "A" record or one of the other DNS records. You don't want to change the nameservers, you don't want to change any other records.

    Not sure. I don't use Wix and I can't see what you're looking at. Perhaps these WIX articles can help:

    https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-or-updating-spf-records-in-your-wix-account

    https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-or-updating-txt-records-in-your-wix-account

    Remember, you can't have multiple SPF records.

    This is my SPF (TXT record):

    By "host" I assume you are talking about your DNS hosting company (wix.com? Google?)? Network Solutions is my DNS hosting provider. I have an online account on their website. I simply sign in to my account and edit my company DNS records to add or remove. I don't contact anyone entries. I'm an IT admin btw.

    Perhaps you can ask them to add a new SPF record for you if you have no access to edit your own DNS records.

    Thank you for your reply andI apologize for my ignorance. When I contacted my host 20 minutes ago, they responded:

    "As I checked from my end I can see that your domain "barkinstyledc.com" MX is pointing to outlook so we don't have any access to check the logs and results so please contact the outlook support to check further"

    Do I contact the host again? Everyone is sending me in opposite directions and I have very limited computer skills. In the meantime, loosing business because emails are not reaching my customers.
