    Is there a workable solution to receiving emails from users? I also have problems receiving emails from my wife's account on *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    The problem and solutions that are provided in this thread are to combat this from the sending side. Email addresses are removed from posts, so we don't know what domains you are referring to. You don't need to give us the full email address, just the part after the @. If this thread applies to you, it would actually need to be fixed from your wife side and your wife's IT administrators would need to fix the issues on their end.

    Let us know the domains we are working with and we can offer some guidance.

    -Brad

    Your MX points to mail.protection.outlook.com and that's Microsoft 365 mail hosting service. As Brad says, you need to read the article and create an SPF, You may as well create DMARC and DKIM records.

    If they had you update those records for their service, they most likely only cared about the service they provided for you, which could break other aspects of email flow. I had a customer try to setup a Mailjet email service last week and they proceeded to break their email flow by changing DNS records to what Mailjet recommended without accounting for the M365 email flow. I had to create custom records that would authenticate both M365 and Mailjet for their domain. If you have support, I'd reach out to this 3rd party, tell them the records they had you create caused other email flow issues, let them know you are using M365, and perhaps they can get you the correct records to authenticate both services. M365 is big enough that I'd expect them to know the correct settings.

    Also - there's a reference to mcsv.net, which appears to be from Mailchimp.

    There was a notification a little while ago that DMARC, DKIM, and SPF records needed to be updated and validated in order for their service to work, so I cut-and-pasted whatever they generated into our records.

    All advice is assuming your email is hosted on Microsoft 365.

    First thing I see is that you do not have an SPF record posted for your domain.

    According to the internet, your domain is hosted by register.com, so you will need your register.com account login and password.

    Once logged in, you will want to find where to manage DNS records for your domain. Don't delete any records, you'll want to create a new record, the record type is TXT, name is just @, and the value would be -

    v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

    Once created, I can run a check to see if it was put in correctly.

    Here is the link to the Microsoft article about creating this and other records that might be needed. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/email-authentication-spf-configure?view=o365-worldwide

    We are having the same issue. Our domain name is @ahif.org and any help you can provide is appreciated.

    Thank you!
