Why am I trying to be forced into using Outlook.

Why is Microsoft trying to force me to use outlook? The app is just awful and I will not use it. I have had a hotmail account since 2000 and use mail tab on windows. Now it keeps wanting to switch me to the piece of **** outlook. Forcing this on people is ****. I will stop using microsoft email completely if this is the way it will be. Why are you doing this to people. Searching the web shows that this is really a bad move from Microsoft and is a ploy to make more money from ads. If this is the case,<removed>

    I hate Outlook and I will use it. I also purchased Windows 11. Was running it for 2 weeks. I went back 10 10. The other thing is that Microsoft keeps pushing Bing. It sucks as well. I always check my default browser and search engine. Now and then "BING" sneaks in. Let's protest against Microsoft. I'm seriously considering getting a Mac. I have been working in the computer field for 25 years. Windows 10 is the only good operating system that Microsoft has ever come up with. I tried setting up Outlook and I keep getting an error. Smarten up Microsoft or you'll lose a lot of customers

    I am totally with all of you on this. I am also tired of giving feedback on why I switched back because clearly they do not read the feed back. If I wanted my mail to stare me in the face when I just want to look a head at the calender dates for say appointments then I would have left it on the new thing. Instead I have to click dissmiss like every few days and probably every week I have to switch back because they are to stupid to maybe give us an option to never be bothered again.

    I beg to differ. Maybe "forced" is too strong a word, if you define it as being held hostage. But, when I have to manually reset Outlook every time that I reboot my computer, that's coercion.
