I would like to get rid of outlook mail.
Why am I trying to be forced into using Outlook.

Why is Microsoft trying to force me to use outlook? The app is just awful and I will not use it. I have had a hotmail account since 2000 and use mail tab on windows. Now it keeps wanting to switch me to the piece of **** outlook. Forcing this on people is ****. I will stop using microsoft email completely if this is the way it will be. Why are you doing this to people. Searching the web shows that this is really a bad move from Microsoft and is a ploy to make more money from ads. If this is the case,<removed>

2024-09-17T15:51:53+00:00 I disagree! I was just fine with my setup as it was and have no interest in any of the offerings of the new Outlook. It was added via unsolicited updates to my Windows program. Now my email is gone from my computer because I didn't sync (or is "sink" the right term?) with the new uninvited Outlook. Did I not hear the Dept. of Justice is looking into several big high-tech companies regarding takeover/monopoly problems? Google is also problematic to me.
