Why am I trying to be forced into using Outlook.

Why is Microsoft trying to force me to use outlook? The app is just awful and I will not use it. I have had a hotmail account since 2000 and use mail tab on windows. Now it keeps wanting to switch me to the piece of **** outlook. Forcing this on people is ****. I will stop using microsoft email completely if this is the way it will be. Why are you doing this to people. Searching the web shows that this is really a bad move from Microsoft and is a ploy to make more money from ads. If this is the case,<removed>

    Today, people, my standard Mail app was removed from pinned apps, wich I found out later was uninstalled (!), not by me. I also saw that there was a new and unfamiliar app pinned to start, Outlook "New". I did not install it, maybe it came with an update, what do I know. What an utterly crappy way to treat customers, forcing this garbage ad infested junk application down peoples throat. What is even worse are the staff at MS claiming "we do not force outlook on our customers"

    It IS a forced change. Because of personal reasons, i prefer to keep somethings separated from the pcs i use on a daily basis, like my work's pc.

    Now i have both my personal pc and work pc's calendars mixed up. I do NOT WANT to see my work pc's calendar on my personal pc.

    You wont get anywhere with these people, they're paid to give good PR by Microsoft anyway, they're very unhelpful.

    I doubt it's even legal what they're doing, forcefully having the Outlook app install on my system and replace the previous mail app, without my consent, MULTIPLE TIMES.

    Maybe someone will entertain the idea of a class action lawsuit.
