Why am I trying to be forced into using Outlook.

Why is Microsoft trying to force me to use outlook? The app is just awful and I will not use it. I have had a hotmail account since 2000 and use mail tab on windows. Now it keeps wanting to switch me to the piece of **** outlook. Forcing this on people is ****. I will stop using microsoft email completely if this is the way it will be. Why are you doing this to people. Searching the web shows that this is really a bad move from Microsoft and is a ploy to make more money from ads. If this is the case,<removed>

    I disagree! I was just fine with my setup as it was and have no interest in any of the offerings of the new Outlook. It was added via unsolicited updates to my Windows program. Now my email is gone from my computer because I didn't sync (or is "sink" the right term?) with the new uninvited Outlook. Did I not hear the Dept. of Justice is looking into several big high-tech companies regarding takeover/monopoly problems? Google is also problematic to me.

    I AM NOPT TALKING ABOUT THE PAID VERSION< IT'S THE FREE VERSION THAT YOU ARE FORCING ME TO ACCEPT RATHER THEN THE OLD VERSION WHICH MOST PEOPLE LIKE!!!

    Micro soft is trying to force me to use Outlook mail instead of Mail. Originally, I was using Outlook and LOVED it! Then Microsoft FORCED me to use MAIL and I lost a lot of data. I am SO tired of it all. AND using Outlook forces me to store data in the CLOUD, which I refuse to do!

    Wrong, it says clearly in their message that it WILL replace Windows 10 MAIL app.

    Amazing,

    then simply click on the mail icon and choose to use the old system from windows library.

    it worked in 10 seconds!!!
