How to create/save .ics file in New Outlook for Windows

I'm using New Outlook for Windows, but can't find a way to save the .ics file from my meeting (event).

How can I do that? or it's not support to do so. Kindly advise.

    Hi,

    Just found that I am able to create a ics file, by creating a meeting, and then under the File menu, using Save As.

    Running Version 2402 (Build 17328.20612)

    I have a similar problem but my new Outlook DOES NOT have the option to forward. When I right-click the event, all I get is: Edit, Charm, Send to OneNote, Show as, Categorize, Private, Duplicate event, and Delete. How do I forward the event or create an ICS file?

    My new Outlook does NOT have a Save As option. It only has Save.

    This new outlook is a total joke and they forced everyone to switch over to it. WHY?? The old version worked so much better, why did they force everyone to this garbage? Everything takes a lot more steps to accomplish. To be able to edit an event you want to add to your calendar, the old outlook literally took 1 step. You opened the ics file and it brings you straight to the window with all the information you can then edit and tweak before clicking save. Now the same thing takes 7 steps. Seriously, 700% of the original steps to get to the same place and somehow they call this an upgrade?
