I'm using New Outlook for Windows, but can't find a way to save the .ics file from my meeting (event).
How can I do that? or it's not support to do so. Kindly advise.

The amount of time I just spent on (unsuccessfully) trying to complete what used to be a simple task is so frustrating. Saving and forwarding .ics events is an essential part of how our organization coordinates large 50+ person meetings. How has Microsoft not added this feature back into new Outlook!?!?! Please fix this!!
So, this inquiry has been created than one year of created and there is no still a solution rather than switch back to the Old Outlook? unbelievable.
tell me you aren't using New Outlook without telling me you aren't using New Outlook.
You just provided instructions using old Outlook.
I had this same question and found the solution
It is key that you open the event of which you want to create an .ics file.
Then on the ribbon you will see the Forward button with a little dropdown arrow.
There, you can select Forward as iCalendar.
Then all you need to do is change the subject and write your email or drag and drop the .ics file as an attachment to the email you were already preparing.
Create an Add to calendar link - how do these features apply to new Outlook? I saw the guidance about forwarding the event, but the only options I see when clicking on an event are shared below.
This is clearly an issue that 24,000+ users have experienced. It is a significant impairment to be unable to readily create, share, and even import (although I do know how to do this) iCal attachments in new Outlook. When can users expect a response/update to this problem?
