I'm using New Outlook for Windows, but can't find a way to save the .ics file from my meeting (event).
How can I do that? or it's not support to do so. Kindly advise.

I am also finding this incredibly frustrating. Is there a work around yet? I work in events and have just switched from Google to Microsoft. I need a way to share links to events so that individuals can choose to add those invites to their calendars (like an ICS file would normally work).
My new Outlook does NOT have a Save As option. It only has Save.
I have a similar problem but my new Outlook DOES NOT have the option to forward. When I right-click the event, all I get is: Edit, Charm, Send to OneNote, Show as, Categorize, Private, Duplicate event, and Delete. How do I forward the event or create an ICS file?

Hi,
Just found that I am able to create a ics file, by creating a meeting, and then under the File menu, using Save As.
Running Version 2402 (Build 17328.20612)

I also agree. The "Save As" option for an event was very useful to create a .ics file. I also cannot forward the event I am trying to save. I also have to reopen the old outlook to accomplish this.
