I recently started using Outlook PWA with Chrome and the right click spellcheck is disabled, forcing me to use left click to access spellcheck. This is very unintuitive, all applications use right click for spellcheck. I am deeply confused by this interface choice, the right click menu in Outlook is useless now, the only options being copy & paste and emojis for some reason?
Is there a setting in Outlook OR an chrome extension OR an Outlook Add-in that will put my spell check back on the right click where it is expected?

Single. Most. Infuriating. Change... After the ridiculous "charm" auto-pervade in Calendar. I am not a 14 year old high school kid.
I cannot even click (left-click) on the error and manually correct it without pressing escape first.
Stop forcing users to use your AI BS.

I never comment on any of these things, but this is so painful and such a bad design decision, you can't even "left-click" into a word that you misspelled to correct, for instance if the correct word is not in the list and you know how to fix it you can't click where the issue is and type, it keeps popping up with the wrong words. You have to delete the word and re-type, very poor slow experience.
Please give an option to choose so I can put spell-check back on the right click.
I completely agree with this.
I am recommending that users revert to "old Outlook" while the seek out a product that completely replaces the defective "new Outlook".
Let's face it, if MS cared about the user experience, they would have never even considered tampering with an industry-standard.
I think that they have failed to realize that they are just one company in this industry, and they don't get to dictate standards.
That may have been the case "back in the day", but it is certainly not now.
IBM made this same mistake, and where are they now?
It is incredible how many horrible things were added/change in "NEW" Outlook and not to mention removed.
Just roll back outlook to 2016 and force update everyone, no one wants this garbage that keeps getting added/changed, the fact that we cant even insert HTML either anymore is laughable with an app that is essentially a web application.
Whoever took over the Outlook team should get reassigned and bring back the old team who can actually understand what users want and not nonsensical changes that they think are cool.
The point is that I can no longer simply locate my cursor by left clicking, as there seems to contextual triggers which block me from using my outlook to type or edit what I need to.
Its not that I need spellcheck on right click or on F7, it's that i need spell check removed from contextual left click.
Please tell the outlook team that if I wanted the apple one button experience I would have bought a mac in the first place.
Truly frustrating change for the sake change.
