Starting this week, some emails (all of them are sent from internal domain) in Outlook shows yellow envelope icon. Opening and reading this email does not make this icon disappear. The only way to get rid of if it is to reply to the email, then the envelope is replaced with arrow.
Is this some new feature, bug or something is wrong iwth our Exchange server?

Interesting. In my environment, it seems that the icon shows up when the "Suggested Replies Feature" is enabled in Exchange Online. When the message is responded to (whether using a suggested reply or not) the icon simply goes away.
This shows up when a message has not been replied to. If you reply to the message the icon will go away.
"View" -> "Current View" > "View Settings" -> "Columns" -> select 'icon' and hit 'remove'
This does NOT fix the problem. It only removes the column -- which also removes the indication that you've replied to or forwarded the email -- indications that are super helpful. If you just remove the column, you don't get any indication re: what you've done with the email. A real fix to the problem would be for Microsoft to remove from their end the mystery yellow envelope that all of the sudden started showing up out of nowhere.

I confirm this solution worked!! This feature has always been available in Outlook, but for some reason the March update turned this feature on automatically.
