I have been deleting unnecessary emails from my outlook client application, but recently observed that the emails are not being deleted from the server. My mailbox is 97% full and it is giving warning that I will not be able to send or receive emails once the mailbox is at 99%.
I am trying to delete emails, but they are keep coming back. I tried deleting emails in several ways, but the emails are not getting deleted.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

2024-05-31T08:06:25+00:00 Why is this whole thread here - "Unable to delete emails" - a pretty BASIC AND IMPORTANT FUNCTION. But Microsoft fails at keeping it working. That this thread is here says A LOT.
It says a lot about the huge issues they have. What a joke. What a bloated mess.
(and I am logged in and using a browser and deleting in bulk does not work - great job as always Microsoft)

2024-05-31T08:03:18+00:00 Yes it is a bloated mess - they cannot keep the basic / most important functions working. I am logged in to my account. I can delete emails one by one. If I mark all and click delete all in a search, it will go through, but the emails are still there ----- a complete failure by Microsoft as usual. The basics will not work. But they focus on trying to spy on you / to make the user experience worse. What a complete failure.
