Why are all my "sent" emails ending up in Draft Folder?

I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but does anyone know how to stop this from happening? I end up double checking my actual Sent folder to be sure my new/response emails did get sent, and not hung up in Draft folder.

Thanks!

Patricia

    Dear Patricia,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I understand that your sent emails are end up in draft folder even after sending the emails. May I please know if you have checked Angelina Harper1's response to your query?

Does this happen before or after you click the Send button? If it happens afterward, does the email only stay in your Drafts folder for a few seconds and then automatically sends, or does it just stay there until you do something with it?

It just stays in my inbox with the word drafts in red letters within brackets before the address. It could not be MORE confusing! It should be in drafts to be completed later. The way it appears now one does not know if it has been sent or not!. Drafts should Not be in inbox! TOTAL CONFUSION!

I am having the exact same problem. My sent emails go out to people and stay in the sent folder but a bunch of them also stay in the draft folder and it's super confusing. I then have to go check my sent folder to make sure things were sent before I delete everything in the draft folder. What is going on??? I want the old version back!!!

    Sonia,

You are so very right! It is confusing and sent emails shouldn't be "hanging out" in the 'sent' folder.

I would like to have the older version back, also.

I am wondering if the reason this happens is because our IT guy prefers we use Edge as the browser, which I despise. But, based on Angelina Harper1, I don't think this is it, either.

Currently, I'm not having the same problem, but can attest that there are many times that it looks like my Outlook email view "changes" as if it is on desktop or web or whichever. 🤔

Thank you so much! I will try these suggestions and see if this changes things back to normal. I know I was being forced to upgrade to the "newest" version of Outlook and this is when things started to go haywire. Sometimes, Outlook looks like it's on the desktop version, appears bigger when sending emails, etc. I have since fixed the fonts, etc.
