Why are all my "sent" emails ending up in Draft Folder?

I gave up and went back to the previous version.

No one at MS seems to care about this problem

I have the same problem and none of the suggested fixes worked for me.

This is driving me crazy and making me think Microsoft office is no longer fit for purpose. When you can't send an email without it going to draft and not being sent, but you can receive emails - something is wrong with the basics. Can anyone recommend an alternative to office that actually works without all this stress?

My Outlook "Classic" from Office Plus 2021 and also the IOS version have the same issue. Annoying. What have been done by MS to scrap one of the best app they had?

I have the same problem. Today is Thursday and in the DRAFT file is an email that is time stamped last Sunday. That same email is in the SENT file Sunday 5:31PM. Just went back to the DRAFT file and that same email is in TODAY section and time stamped 3:18 PM which is now, as I write this. All very confusing.

Maybe related to this is once sent is clicked, mail is slow, hours, to leave the outbox. Also, if a website sends a OTP word, it arrives well after hours after, the time window when the password is useful. Email address is with comcast.

I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but does anyone know how to stop this from happening? I end up double checking my actual Sent folder to be sure my new/response emails did get sent, and not hung up in Draft folder.

There are definitely several things in New Outlook I like and others I don't. This is one of them. I have the 10 second rule (which btw is one feature I do NOT like - the Old Outlook allowed me to set a rule to send after a certain amount of time. Yes I could do this on my own with a scheduled send, but that isn't automated)

When I do use the scheduled send, the email stays in drafts?! Why even have an Outbox option if nothing goes there?!
