    still exactly the same issue...

My Gmail account which is the "primary" subscriber to Microsoft 365 Family Subscription stopped sending emails on Outlook yesterday (8/8/24) for no apparent reason (i,e. no changes in passwords, settings, etc.) -- it doesn't send on Outlook on my laptop or my Outlook app on Samsung phone app, BUT it does send emails from the Gmail web interface (all the settings on Gmail seem fine).

Additionally -- all other Gmail and non-Gmail accounts work on Outlook -- only the "primary" - linked to Microsoft 365 Family Subscription is not sending emails from Outlook.

Removing/re-adding, changing profiles, etc. -- all solutions posted here do not work for me.

Anyone with the same problem related to Gmail email linked to Microsoft 365 Family subscription?

I have found a solution for you guys.

There is a problem with outgoing port in IMAP account setting.

            Open Account setting.

             Open IMAP server setting.

Under outgoing mail drop down Manu set encryption SSL/ TLS

Uncheck (Require logon using Secure password Authentication SPA)

Check the box (My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication. and select (Use same settings as my incoming mail server)

    For Mac Outlook Users.

           Open account settings

           Click More options

Set authentication (Use incoming server info)

    That worked for me.

    Thank you.
