Google calendar not showing up in outlook even though it is showing as connected under 'settings>accounts'

Yesterday, my google calendar stopped being visable on my outlook calendar. It has worked for years and all of a sudden it's not. outlook is showing that the calendar associated with my gmail account is connected, but I am unable to view it. I have removed and readded my gmail twice and have tried several workarounds I have found online to no avail. I use both calendars for appointments and it's absolutely devastating to have this issue. My outlook email address is associated with work and my gmail is a personal email. This issue persists on both my desktop and Surface Pro. Can someone tell me how to git this resolved?

    +1 Same issue. Worked until a few days before, but no longer. Both not in Outlook for Web and "New Outlook".

    Got the calendar working by using the new Outlook desktop app (added my Google account to the Outlook app). Didn't work with the old Outlook desktop version.

    I was using the web app over the desktop app only because of aesthetics. The new desktop app looks exactly the same as the web app so I'm willing to make the switch. Sadly, it's not a solution to many of you, but maybe alleviates the problem for some of you (until a fix is found).

    Same issue. Was working. Then, it stopped working about mid-October 2023. Please fix Microsoft, as I'm missing critical personal considerations when scheduling work meetings.
