Google calendar not showing up in outlook even though it is showing as connected under 'settings>accounts'

Yesterday, my google calendar stopped being visable on my outlook calendar. It has worked for years and all of a sudden it's not. outlook is showing that the calendar associated with my gmail account is connected, but I am unable to view it. I have removed and readded my gmail twice and have tried several workarounds I have found online to no avail. I use both calendars for appointments and it's absolutely devastating to have this issue. My outlook email address is associated with work and my gmail is a personal email. This issue persists on both my desktop and Surface Pro. Can someone tell me how to git this resolved?

    Same problem here ! no more Google calendar synced on outlook web

    PS: sync still works on the Outlook mobile App though

    I had the same error (cannot, try later) when I tried the new Outlook, so this was not a fix for me.

    +1 Same issue. Has worked fine for many years. Just stopped working recently. I've disconnected and reconnected my gmail account several times - no joy. FWIW, the Outlook app on my phone still shows my gmail calendar.
