How to fix iPhone calendar not synching with Outlook calendar?

If I put event into Outlook calendar on my laptop, it synchs with my iPhone. If I put an event into my calendar on my iPhone, it does not synch with Outlook on my laptop. Works one way but not the other. Help please.

Try this:

RESOLUTION via your iPhone:

  • Settings, Apps, Calendar; Default Calendar—Calendar (scroll down to bottom).
  • Calendar app: + (top right to create new Event and verify Outlook Calendar is where Event will be saved); scroll down to Calendar—be sure it points to “Calendar” and not to iCloud [ARLENE] iCloud Calendar—tap Calendar (appointment will now sync and be created on Outlook Calendar).

    I have the exact same issue with calendar not synchronizing between iPhone and Outlook. Only " Calendar" from outlook is not synchronizing

    I had same issue, go into settings and check the default calendar, mine somehow was set to the icloud and not the exchange one my laptop uses. I could then get new events I added after the settings change to sync. I guess i need to restart both devices to get previous entered events to sync, but if I do this i'll never find this thread again 🤣

    I have a similar issue. Appointments entered on my computer outlook (MAC) sync with my phone, appointments entered in my phone, will not sync with my outlook on the mac.

    According to your description, to fix the issue of iPhone calendar not syncing with Outlook calendar, please follow these steps:

    1. Check if your iPhone is connected to the internet and if the Outlook app is up to date.
    2. Make sure that you have enabled the option to sync your calendar in the Outlook app on your iPhone. To do this, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Outlook > toggle on the switch for Calendars.
    3. Check if the events you added on your iPhone are saved to the correct calendar. Sometimes, events may be saved to a different calendar, which may cause syncing issues.
    4. If the above steps do not work, try removing and re-adding your Outlook account on your iPhone. To do this, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Outlook > Delete Account. Then, add your account again by going to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account > Outlook.
