I cannot copy a complete e-mail anymore and paste it in a new e-mail.

Hi, I am using the most recent version of Office 365 Outlook, and since I updated to the new layout, I am not able to copy a complete email anymore.

The only option I have is to copy and move the email to a certain number of preset folders. However, I mostly use this function to copy and add the email to an ongoing but different email thread. It seems that this not possible anymore or at least I don't how to do it.

    This change has massively affected our admin's ability to easily copy e-mails as if they were files into other applications (for audit purposes). It also adds additional effort to add to calendar invites. It's a very very used feature and I am really surprised that this bug has been overlooked by Microsoft.

    Re-iterating @Michael W_258 - this feature loss is very disappointing.

    I agree completely regarding the new outlook - there are many missing features. but this ability to copy a complete email and attached it as reference in a new message is extremely important.

    Also - is it possible to switch back to the old outlook without losing any of my emails etc.?

    Hi,

    I just tried it again and it is now possible to drag and drop a message (email), in its entirety, into a new message.

    Thanks for pointing this out as this step is pretty fast. It helps save a lot of time and we can avoid saving and inserting an email as an attachment.

    Yeah, but I also used to attach emails to the body of meeting invitations to provide context for the meeting, but you can't drag and drop it there now.
