Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I cannot copy an email address and paste it into the to section to send someone an email. I have to paste it in the body of the email and then retype it.

Hi, I am using the most recent version of Office 365 Outlook, and since I updated to the new layout, I am not able to copy a complete email anymore.
The only option I have is to copy and move the email to a certain number of preset folders. However, I mostly use this function to copy and add the email to an ongoing but different email thread. It seems that this not possible anymore or at least I don't how to do it.
Thanks for anyone's advice.

Hi,
Thanks for your detailed reply. However, I don't want to copy a part of text I want the complete email as a file and add that to a new email. Option 2 looks like the option that could help (even though it is quite time consuming compared to the old way), but I can only save it in the email itself. The Beta version only allows me to save it but I cannot change the format and it automatically saves it as an EML file. Once I copy that, most of my receiver cannot open it..
Can you emphasize about the old functionality of copy and paste as in the e-mail? Is it not available in this beta version and will it be added soon?
Don't get me wrong, the new version of Outlook is really great but the missing of this copy past function is a big loss.
