I cannot copy a complete e-mail anymore and paste it in a new e-mail.

Hi, I am using the most recent version of Office 365 Outlook, and since I updated to the new layout, I am not able to copy a complete email anymore.

The only option I have is to copy and move the email to a certain number of preset folders. However, I mostly use this function to copy and add the email to an ongoing but different email thread. It seems that this not possible anymore or at least I don't how to do it.

Thanks for anyone's advice.

    Seriously?

Only method 2 provides the intended result, and you now need twelve steps where previously you only needed two. Actually even some more because afterwards you need to find the msg file in your Explorer and delete it.

Copy & pasting objects has been a standard feature of any application for decades, and you are stripping it off ... Please bring back this feature!

(Not personal, it's not your fault - just want to express my strong disappointment about Microsoft)

This is really unacceptable. Why would such a helpful, simple feature be removed? Hopefully it's being considered as a modification to be added back to the new version of Outlook.

This change is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. In the practice of my profession, I often need to attach email files to new emails. This new process is too inefficient. How can I switch back to the previous version of Outlook?

    Thanks for the feedback.

I however think Microsoft is moving backwards - and not slowly.

Something that used to take 3 seconds is now a minute process. In a fast-paced business world this is very disappointing.

The old feature needs resinstated. I use have to have the full email message with any attachments for business reasons/backups in our records. The fact Microsoft removed this feature is frustrating. Additionally, i can no longer drag & drop it into our CRM which use to be super easy to do vs. having to open up to paste the upload. Your solutions you gave are not what the origional poster was asking for. Please work on fixing this blunder.
