New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    Nope, this does not work for me. Tried all of the mentioned options here, but the New Outlook does not use capitals with new sentences. Funny enough I experience the same issue on my private outlook.com accounts (for years).. so not happy at all. Also missing the flag option in a new message.. so far the New Outlook brings more dissapointments than improvements.

    The problem here is that even when you do as you have suggested, MS has ignored simple grammar and punctuation rules - at the end of a sentence, you are supposed to have two (2) spaces - when you do that, the first word of the new sentence is NOT capitalized...BUT, if you only do one space it is!!!! It all is very frustrating.

    Go to Message

    Three dots at the far right for more options and go to Editor/Editor Settings and then enable auto capitalization

    Hi Nate,

    thanks, but please note that this indeed should work, but it doesn't. That is the whole issue with this problem. If it would have been this easy, I think less people would complain. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't seem to care as no fix is released. Funny enough I do have the same issue with my private oulook web mailbox. Even after trying several differente laptops ;-)

    Hi Kerry,

    Why this is no longer toggled with Shift+F3? We have been using this shortcut for more than 20 years, why MS simply turned it off?

    Is there a way to binding keys in the new Outlook?
