New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

Hi All,

Here's how you turn on the auto capitalization in the new outlook.

1. Open a new mail.
2. Go to Options tab > Editor tab and open "Editor Settings".
3. Slide the "Enable Auto Capitalization" radio button and click OK.

I am abandoning the 'New' Outlook. It is seriously inferior to the long standing 'Old' Outlook.

1. It does not empty the deleted folder automatically on exit. (I do understand that exit and log out are two different things, but bottom line, it doesn't work, where the Old Outlook did.)
2. It does NOT automatically capitalize the first word in a sentence. (The Capitalization feature suggested in the forums does not function as a 'setting').
3. The setting options are far fewer and scattered all over the place, instead of being located in a single menu area. (You have to hunt down the location of every single setting via an internet search.)

This is just my list.

Apparently, there are many other deficiencies irritating many other users as well. Just take a look at the posts.

Okay so this worked, but what about automatic capitalisation of 'i' when referring to oneself?

and does not open an email in its own free standing mail , you have to expand with the arrow every time!! unless someone has figured out how to get it to always open in its own window

also wants to open adobe PDF with in outlook, and have to again waste time and hit the arrow and then open in "adobe"

also you can just grab all the attachments and drag them into a folder

i get multiple attachments all the time and have to download them one by one, and when you do hit save it does not give you the option to save it where you want, it automatically download them to a preselected file location,

do any of these item have solutions, i i i i i

can we please auto capitalize i i i ?????

it is really frustrating
