Users are experiencing an issue where the New Teams window keeps appearing unexpectedly while they're working on Outlook or other applications. This problem started on March 19, 2024, in New Zealand.
Despite attempting various solutions like clearing Teams caches, uninstalling and reinstalling the application, disabling Teams on startup, and restarting the device, the problem persists. Reinstalling Teams temporarily resolves the issue, but it reoccurs shortly afterward.
Could suggest any futher troubleshooting?

The team’s chat screen keeps popping up on top of other applications, aggravating users and reducing productivity.
We uninstalled Teams and then reinstalled the classic version, and we no longer have the problem.

We were able to find a very weird "solution" that worked for us. We noticed this behavior only occurred for our colleagues that were using the Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset and they had it connected using the USB receiver. Unplugging the USB receiver and pairing the headset through bluetooth has, at least temporarily, solved the issue. I'm not sure if this affects other makes/models of headsets as this is the only one we've had issues with so far.

It is now 5/9 and the issue persists. Is there going to be a fix pushed on this that works?
