New Teams is keep popping up on screen while users is working on Outlook or other apps

Users are experiencing an issue where the New Teams window keeps appearing unexpectedly while they're working on Outlook or other applications. This problem started on March 19, 2024, in New Zealand.

Despite attempting various solutions like clearing Teams caches, uninstalling and reinstalling the application, disabling Teams on startup, and restarting the device, the problem persists. Reinstalling Teams temporarily resolves the issue, but it reoccurs shortly afterward.

Could suggest any futher troubleshooting?

    This is interfering with business. Interfering with my abillity to give sessions on Teams - sharing screen is constantly interrupted. Meetings on Teams are repeatedly getting interrupted by a Teams screen without touching the keyboard or computer in general. Please fix this ASAP - the side effect is that we are actively moving away from Teams as much as possible.

    I know that Its also affects Dell Lattitude 7320. We all use Dell.

    It sounds unlikely to be be a brand issue. But someone with other computer brands affected?

    Logout / login seems to work for now... not sure how long for.

    Yes, a number of our users have reported this issue, and they mostly use Intel NUCs, of various models.

    We are having the same issue here in Indiana, we seemed to have noticed that the issue persists when using another Microsoft application. Users have reported using Excel, Outlook, and other applications when teams would pop up randomly on them and take their curser away from the screen they were working on. Hope that this might help shed some light on the issue. Our temporary fix has been to uninstall and reinstall teams but that seems to only work for a day.
