Users are experiencing an issue where the New Teams window keeps appearing unexpectedly while they're working on Outlook or other applications. This problem started on March 19, 2024, in New Zealand.
Despite attempting various solutions like clearing Teams caches, uninstalling and reinstalling the application, disabling Teams on startup, and restarting the device, the problem persists. Reinstalling Teams temporarily resolves the issue, but it reoccurs shortly afterward.
Could suggest any futher troubleshooting?

This happens for us when we are in a Teams Meeting and a notification is sent on a different channel, the Teams app overlays the Teams meeting screen every time.

I have had the exact same issue.
After turning off the 'Launch Teams automatically' under Settings>General and rebooting Teams the issue didn't occur anymore.
Even after turning this setting back on and rebooting Teams.
