Using New Outlook on Windows for academic communication and scheduling
Microsoft obviously did something to have these exact issues among customers.
Can we get a fix? An answer? It's a MSFT issue not the user
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
It keeps making me log back in (via the number confirmation system) which is annoying because I have to have my phone on hand at all times to confirm my laptop, and I have to actively check outlook every day just to make sure I haven't missed any emails due to outlook randomly logging me out. Is there a way to bypass this? It's getting very frustrating to deal with.

I am having the same issue. I clear my cache and I can download a few attachments, then it tells me error in downloading. I have used Google Chrome and Safari.
It is logging me out every night and about once throughout the day.
Eagerly waiting for a fix.
Same exact issue --- more than once a day !!
Hello,
I am having the same issue since 10 days ago (March 30, 2024).
I have cleared my cache, restarted my laptop (macbook air) and I get logged off a few times per day.
At the same time, our outlook webmail doesn't open files anymore. We were told this was an issue at Microsoft and that you are working on it. Maybe these issues are linked?
I do not seem to have an option in my settings to keep me logged in and I have tried all steps listed.
Again, this issue started about 10 days ago, I changed nothing, happened all the sudden.
I too do not have my phone on me at all times and it is frustrating...
Please look deeper into this. If there is an actual solution in the settings, could you please be more specific as to where to find it?
Thank you

May I know what version of Outlook you have? What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support
