It keeps making me log back in (via the number confirmation system) which is annoying because I have to have my phone on hand at all times to confirm my laptop, and I have to actively check outlook every day just to make sure I haven't missed any emails due to outlook randomly logging me out. Is there a way to bypass this? It's getting very frustrating to deal with.

I had the same email-missing issue, and realized it was because I was randomly SIGNED OUT of one of my many many email accounts that gets funneled into my Global Inbox. I don't know why it randomly signed me out, but it DID. So signing back into that email fixed it, then a week later, another one of the accounts randomly signed out behind my back. In both cases, it was only on my phone app.
So the root problem for me was the inexplicable signing-out. Still doesn't explain WHY it signed me out, but at least my emails have returned flowing. The problem now is trusting that I'm not getting randomly signed out and missing time-sensitive emails.
Hope this helps somebody.
