New Outlook with multiple accounts

Hi,

In the new outlook, I have 6 email accounts. They all transferred in with the transition just fine. However, there does not appear to be a way to know which email accounts have new mail in them other than clicking on each account. And to add injury to insult, when you click on an account, you get another drop down menu.

I am in windows 11 and the 365 subscription version of outlook.

I absolutely need to see at a glance which accounts have new email in them on the main account screen. When an account does have new email, I need to be able to click on that email and have the inbox open with one click and not give me another menu to click through.,

Without these features you are adding a ridiculous amount of time to what should be a two second glance to check emails.

These are not wants, they are absolute needs.

Can anyone help? Or is time to find a new app?

Any help appreciated.

So, I must buy an iPhone and still pay 75% more for my Microsoft Action Pack Subscription.

Because, I can't have all my inboxes unified in one single Inbox, on my Windows computer.

I don't know if I am on a bot conversion, or if this is a real Microsoft thread, but it doesn't matter much.

We all are pretty accustomed to American lies, thus far.

    Better live with it.

Win PC-wise, the Mail that came with Win10 supported Unified InBox. Worked pretty well. Migrated to OL 365 running in "Classic mode" which also worked fine. 2 days ago, found OL Classic had died overnight and would not startup. Still a tbd on that...

Temporarily ran OL 365 in New mode. Got the multiple Favourites inboxes which was an irritation but possibly workable. However, the real bummer came when I discovered there are cross-mail Move-to and Drag-Drop restrictions (eg between Outlook Live and Google). That may be due to default SMTP/POP/MAPI setting, but if not, it is the biggest of show-stoppers.

They're never gonna fix it. Switch to Mailbird; it works great.

Typical modern programmers take a perfectly good program and turn it into a disaster! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
