New Outlook with multiple accounts

In case anyone needs this.... 11/11/2024- If you are looking for multiple email accounts - 1 inbox-

I tried this and it worked:

In the top right blue panel- left click on your name icon- it should be your first and last initial ( account manager- you).

click " open another mailbox"

type in the mailbox or email or it may prompt you for suggested contacts.

All in one panel- not found yet ... but to find them by search atleast.

This did not work for me. It takes a few more steps if you're just trying to see all your own emails in one location. I'm assuming I would have to share my inboxes with myself first and then it might appear, but that's just so dumb my body is refusing to do it for now.

Edit: yeah I shared my own inbox with myself so now it shows up. I can't add it to favourites though, god knows why, but it's better than nothing.

I ended up going to Outlook Classic which works well. The trick was in setting up POP with Gmail and overcoming the Windows Hello intervening at every step of the way. I had to turn off Hello and then get the App Password from Google.

Once that was done, I had to point all my emails to a single PST folder and then also decide how much of the older data I wanted to backfill into Outlook. My Gmail history is to big and would make the PST file unuseable.

Not it works and I am not messing with it hopefully for a long, long time.

I have multiple email accounts and they all have their own inbox, outbox, etc. This wastes an enormous amount of time trying to figure out which folder has the messages. Also, I have to look through every folder to see which one was sent or received.

I tried your fix and there is no unified box feature, much less an All Accounts option in my Outlook 365 Home and Office 2024.

It's worth mentioning that I paid more for the Outlook business version.

Please advise an alternate method that will actually work on my version!

I HAD the same problem until I changed my "Favorites" list at the top of the navigation panel. I went to each of my 4 email addresses and clicked on the 3 dots to the right of INBOX for that email. Then I selected "Add to favorites" and the INBOX for that email appeared under Favorites. Then I went to Favorites and clicked on the 3 dots to the right of each of the default favorites I didn't want and selected "Remove from Favorites". Now in favorites, I have only my 4 email INBOXES With each email address in brackets alongside and when I get an email in that INBOX, it has a number to the right showing me that I have mail. I don't have to go to each email down below anymore to check for mail. It's not perfect but will do UNTIL MS gets a UNIFIED INBOX they should have had by now!

EDIT: You have to click on the email account to open the drop-down list of folders. I then selected my INBOX folder as the one I wanted in favorites. You can select any folder in the drop-down list by clicking the 3 dots and add to favorites.
