New Outlook with multiple accounts

Hi,

In the new outlook, I have 6 email accounts. They all transferred in with the transition just fine. However, there does not appear to be a way to know which email accounts have new mail in them other than clicking on each account. And to add injury to insult, when you click on an account, you get another drop down menu.

I am in windows 11 and the 365 subscription version of outlook.

I absolutely need to see at a glance which accounts have new email in them on the main account screen. When an account does have new email, I need to be able to click on that email and have the inbox open with one click and not give me another menu to click through.,

Without these features you are adding a ridiculous amount of time to what should be a two second glance to check emails.

These are not wants, they are absolute needs.

Can anyone help? Or is time to find a new app?

    I don't even have the three dots in 365 Home and Office 2024. I can right click though and add the in/outboxes to favorites. Still have to click on every inbox to check messages that should be easily unified into a single inbox like every other email client out there. This is an enormous oversight by MS - particularly with the more costly business version. What businesses have only one email account?

    Yes. Sorry, you have to click on the email account to open the drop-down list of folders. I then selected my INBOX folder as the one I wanted in favorites. You can select any folder in the drop-down list by clicking the 3 dots and add to favorites.

    I have only Add account Manage account and Add folder on the 3 dots after each email account. Am I missing a step?

    I HAD the same problem until I changed my "Favorites" list at the top of the navigation panel. I went to each of my 4 email addresses and clicked on the 3 dots to the right of INBOX for that email. Then I selected "Add to favorites" and the INBOX for that email appeared under Favorites. Then I went to Favorites and clicked on the 3 dots to the right of each of the default favorites I didn't want and selected "Remove from Favorites". Now in favorites, I have only my 4 email INBOXES With each email address in brackets alongside and when I get an email in that INBOX, it has a number to the right showing me that I have mail. I don't have to go to each email down below anymore to check for mail. It's not perfect but will do UNTIL MS gets a UNIFIED INBOX they should have had by now!

    I have multiple email accounts and they all have their own inbox, outbox, etc. This wastes an enormous amount of time trying to figure out which folder has the messages. Also, I have to look through every folder to see which one was sent or received.

    I tried your fix and there is no unified box feature, much less an All Accounts option in my Outlook 365 Home and Office 2024.

    It's worth mentioning that I paid more for the Outlook business version.

    Please advise an alternate method that will actually work on my version!
