New Outlook with multiple accounts

Hi,

In the new outlook, I have 6 email accounts. They all transferred in with the transition just fine. However, there does not appear to be a way to know which email accounts have new mail in them other than clicking on each account. And to add injury to insult, when you click on an account, you get another drop down menu.

I am in windows 11 and the 365 subscription version of outlook.

I absolutely need to see at a glance which accounts have new email in them on the main account screen. When an account does have new email, I need to be able to click on that email and have the inbox open with one click and not give me another menu to click through.,

Without these features you are adding a ridiculous amount of time to what should be a two second glance to check emails.

These are not wants, they are absolute needs.

Can anyone help? Or is time to find a new app?

    No I cannot see the parallel lines nor the little house and so I cannot see a unified inbox. And I don't want a unified inbox. I am at a standstill; this upgrade (downloaded on 5-14-24 without my permission and without notification) is TERRIBLE and I cannot find any instructions that will allow me to revert to previous version. This is costing me HOURS of work to try to get around. Need better help from someone who knows something instead of being sent down rabbit holes that have nothing to do with my problem.

    Can't see new emails! No way I'm gonna click all my email addresses to check for new emails!

    The Unified Inbox option does not exist for the new Outlook software that MS has forced upon my workstation. Either you are referencing a different version of Outlook that I'm using or the documentation being shared is just completely wrong.

    Like others have noted in this thread, all I can see after clicking on the three horizontal lines in the upper left-hand corner of the screen are my favorites, the current email accounts I have (redacted from the attached screenshot), and the option to "Add Account". There is no All Accounts option.

    This is very disappointing and an absolute blunder from the team that delivered this software.

    This reply does not apply to the New Outlook on Windows.. So far all I can do is put a favourite for each accounts inbox at the top of the Favourites Folder pane to get a separate one click for each account inbox. My old Mail for Windows had an All Inboxes tab, this is worse. Outlook need to fix this.

    Ha! Switched to old Outlook, told it that I did so because it didn't have a unified inbox, and this was presented to me. So sad.
