Hi,
In the new outlook, I have 6 email accounts. They all transferred in with the transition just fine. However, there does not appear to be a way to know which email accounts have new mail in them other than clicking on each account. And to add injury to insult, when you click on an account, you get another drop down menu.
I am in windows 11 and the 365 subscription version of outlook.
I absolutely need to see at a glance which accounts have new email in them on the main account screen. When an account does have new email, I need to be able to click on that email and have the inbox open with one click and not give me another menu to click through.,
Without these features you are adding a ridiculous amount of time to what should be a two second glance to check emails.
These are not wants, they are absolute needs.
Can anyone help? Or is time to find a new app?

I assume given the amount of negative feedback on the issue that Microsoft are well aware and the lack of helpful comment on the issue or progress on a solution from them over a long period of time is worrying. They are either incompetent or don't care for users once signed up.
I too have the same problem. Is there a workable solution?
agreed. MS needs to work more with its regular users before coming out with "New and Improve". It may help MS but doesn't help the user.
directions did NOT match what was displayed to me. There is NO unified display!!!
I leave microsoft and outlook app if this feature is not available on the new outlook and they force us to use new outlook.
Bye bye microsoft for a silly feature that is unique and a must for your customers.
