Dear MS, If you wish to replace an application (developed over 20+ years) then make it functionally equivalent.

Until then don't bother with trying to push the <removed> that is the new Outlook onto people to test.

    Here are some more issues with missing functionality:

    1. There is no obvious way to attach a file without it being a link to sharepoint or one drive. This is unacceptable. Life is hard enough! Please restore the functionality.

    I agree with whoever said (on this issue) that Microsoft is driving all traffic to their website, urls, and web-applications. I want to have more control and I dislike using the web apps. I would like to default every file to open in the software /app on my laptop. This is not the case -- even if you set this as your preference-- because when you send a link to a file it opens online, regardless of your preferences.

    Thanks for listening!!

    You can get rid of the toggle by adding the following to your registry.

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General]

    "HideNewOutlookToggle"=dword:00000001

    My fear is that Microsoft will force this version upon us. Does anyone know if they plan on doing that? That would be incredibly disruptive to our operation, I can't overstate how negatively our business would be impacted if our users were forced to use this version.

    I still have Outlook and Outlook New installed. I have no plans on uninstalling original Outlook. I would expect them to not support Outlook at some point in hopes that people will migrate to Outlook New. I will find another mail system at that point or just use old version until I can't use anymore.
