Dear MS, If you wish to replace an application (developed over 20+ years) then make it functionally equivalent.

Until then don't bother with trying to push the <removed> that is the new Outlook onto people to test.

    Well said!

I can tell you what Microsoft will likely say..

    1. Studies showed that users preferred SYNC over send/receive (user study not referenced)
    2. Studies showed that users preferred this simpler interface over the more flexible one (user study once again not referenced)
    3. Studies showed that users preferred a more Apple like experience over the traditional non-Apple experience (user study yet again not referenced)
    4. Users [whom MS sales dept care about, the decision makers at these companies were notified. As we were serving them champaign on their complimentary flight on the MS jet for a work trip to Hawaii they said the changes we proposed were fineeeeee.

See a pattern here? With office365 the individual user experience is no longer relevant only keeping the people at the clients company who decides to renew the Office subscription, happy,

EVEN Microsoft's own AI is saying that the new Outlook is bad, so bad that in Windows 11 you;re better off using the OS's Mail & Calendar apps then use the new Outlook,

For the love of God Microsoft when are you going to pull your head out of your butt about this new OL trash?

I completely agree. I was made to move to the new outlook due to a calendar syncing issue and I tried it out, giving it a go. It was terrible:

    • Cant add a new person to an email without resending all (ended up spamming 170 people because of this)
    • Meeting invites are busy, hardly any room to write a decent well laid out message. Not useful for work communications
    • cant build pictures in an email. I had to go out, put it together in a separate document and paste back in (this was a short how to for employees)
    • I have about 20 email folders for my work, quickly filing things was a nightmare, all my folders are not on the same page. Visibility is terrible, I had sore eyes and wasted time scrolling up and down.
    • doesnt tell me how many emails I have in inbox, and hard to see the situation at a glance, again, scolling back and forward
    • Its clunky, makes me unproductive, a terrible tool for work.

I am back to classic outlook even with the weird calendar syncing issue, I can get through much more work quickly. I hope we are not forced into new outlook. Ok for occasional web emails/personal. Not for work.

Agree. The interface is terrible, and slows me down. Does not support productivity at all.

My outlook doesn't work at all now. I cant send or receive emails .Your support is nothing more than a repetitive circle that fixes nothing. Is their anyone that can actually help?
