Dear MS, If you wish to replace an application (developed over 20+ years) then make it functionally equivalent.

Until then don't bother with trying to push the <removed> that is the new Outlook onto people to test.

    Have to agree, they seem to make these drastic changes to every program to justify selling a new version. At some point they have to stop breaking what isn't broke.

    I tried to set up the "new" Outlook today and it will not connect to my IMAP, it will not even connect to my Outlook.com/live.com account. It's completely useless. Given the comments here, even if it might work, it seems not worth the hassle.

    You can't "save as" anymore with an attached file. All attachments automatically go to your system "downloads" folder (which cannot be changed). then you have to go find the file, copy it where you want it and then rename. It's a step backward for sure
