New Outlook - Completely Sucks

Fundamentally, for me, the Product team hasn’t sufficiently understood the end users workflow - or why completing that workflow efficiently is priority 1 for many users.

How else could Microsoft put out a “new” productivity product that takes multiple times longer to complete the same tasks and expect it to be popular?

New Outlook is a running joke in my company. It comes up on Teams calls with external suppliers/customers and we compare which poor souls are forced to use it.

Only other guess is that they’re so caught up with making Outlook equivalent with the web app - they’ve totally lost sight of what end users care about.

Either way, it’s the first MS office product I’ve used that’s been this bad for this long.

Yeah; just tried the New Outlook. What an absolute joke. It does not support dragging and dropping email attachments. Are you serious? Who, in their "right mind" thought it was a good idea to not implement this fundamental feature? WOW! What a clown show...

A total garbage! Can't have my calendar/task view simultaneously with my email/inbox view. Back to the old one!

If Microsoft moves forward with this awful Outlook version, I will discontinue my Office subscription. It is that bad. On the business side, it totally breaks basic functionality expected from the Windows native client. People will howl when this is forced upon them.
