Dear MS, If you wish to replace an application (developed over 20+ years) then make it functionally equivalent.

Until then don't bother with trying to push the <removed> that is the new Outlook onto people to test.

Outlook | Windows | New Outlook for Windows | For home

I want to keep this message alive and well. Microsoft continues to push New Outlook in 2024 and forces a switch every time I restart my computer. I have written feedback three times and I am convinced no one at Microsoft has read any of it. The functionality is awful, the application is horribly slow, and the user interface is atrocious. Am I the only one that hates the drop-down menu when you select an email account to use? I prefer to go straight to my inbox, as that is what I (and I'm assuming most people) frequent. But no, in New Outlook, I need to hit my email, then my inbox (two clicks). It may not sound like a lot, but when the application constantly lags and takes way too much time to load the inbox, it adds time and frustration that was otherwise nonexistent with the old mail application.

Another issue is that PDFs open in a dumb preview window that is too small to show the document properly... Please listen to your customers Microsoft, because I am getting tired of re-iterating and re-writing the same reviews with. The old application should not be forced out when it is completely functional.

Agree with everyone here. It is pure garbage. Not sure if the product team knows anything about product development or it is just a bunch of programmers that decide. In any case, seems like no user feed back or input is every considered. I tried it for a week and found it to be a total waste of time. Reverting back to the old one. But have also installed emclient which is so much better. will likely remove outlook.

Agree - I absolutely hate it. I don't mind the new Teams but the new Outlook - how could you make it worse than before? 🤦‍♀️

This "upgrade" is terrible. Came into work this morning and this new version is running. I cant find anything. No instructions!!! Whoever came up with this garbage needs to be terminated immediately.

I need to revert back to the system that I have used for 20 years.

Can anyone help with reinstalling the version that actually works???????

Used to be able to sort emails by "From" and delete all at the summary level. Yes, unsubscribing is the primary objective, but sometimes you get put onto email lists and want to clean your inbox out quickly. Anyone have a suggestion?

    • Also, losing Signatures was bad and having to recreate them for each email account is even worse.
    • Still have not figured out how to get me local .PST files to appear
    • Can't get to my iCloud contacts from a different service provider email
