Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I want to keep this message alive and well. Microsoft continues to push New Outlook in 2024 and forces a switch every time I restart my computer. I have written feedback three times and I am convinced no one at Microsoft has read any of it. The functionality is awful, the application is horribly slow, and the user interface is atrocious. Am I the only one that hates the drop-down menu when you select an email account to use? I prefer to go straight to my inbox, as that is what I (and I'm assuming most people) frequent. But no, in New Outlook, I need to hit my email, then my inbox (two clicks). It may not sound like a lot, but when the application constantly lags and takes way too much time to load the inbox, it adds time and frustration that was otherwise nonexistent with the old mail application.
Another issue is that PDFs open in a dumb preview window that is too small to show the document properly... Please listen to your customers Microsoft, because I am getting tired of re-iterating and re-writing the same reviews with. The old application should not be forced out when it is completely functional.
