Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I must completely agree. I gave it a chance and absolutely regretted it. Things that should work at a basic level didn't work and ended up taking so much of my time, most notably the fact that I tried updating my default font in the settings AT LEAST 5 times and it kept going back to the one it sets initially when I'd go in the app the next day.
Even when it would keep my newly set font on a given day, if I would copy and paste text from another email (that was all one font and matched the default font I wanted), it would make part of the font the correct font, part of the font the one I didn't want, and randomly varied the size of the font between 11 and 12pt. I would then have to spend way too much time trying to get everything to format in the same font (and no, highlight all the text and selecting the font I ultimately wanted did NOT work).
Please do MUCH more thorough due diligence before releasing a new version of an application. If basic functionalities don't even work correctly and cause headaches, and I can't even imagine how more advanced features might function.
