can't opening settings in the "new" Outlook

I tried the new Outlook sind a week. So far it worked with my my 7 email accounts. I also could opening the settings window. But suddently since yesterday when I click on the settings the window is opening but empty. I only see the text "loading..." but nothing happens.

I tried to repair, reset and even uninstall and reinstall it again. Nothing helped. Even though the uninstalled warned me that all data are removed, after installing it again, all acounts were visible again... can I something delete the synced acounts in the cloud?`What can I do to be able to opening the settings again????

    I just found a workaround. In the windows systemsettings I opened "mail". I created a new outlook profil and added an email addy. Then I opened the new outlook again, it discovered that there was a new email addy and asked me to sync with the ms cloud. Once I did this, suddenly my new outlook could open it's settings window too....

    I feel like I have to respond to this thread. Thanks @GritEverID for all the testing so far.

    After having the same issue and quickly looking through the thread. I noticed that one of my accounts had an issue with authentication, small icon on the side of the account. Once I resigned in on this account and restarted settings worked again.

    In the NEW Outlook the settings window displays NOTHING except the text "Loading..."

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and running it in safe mode. I have tried restarting the computer.

    The only way to access settings for me is to switch back to OLD Outlook and change the settings I want and then return to NEW Outlook. Something about displaying the window is completely bugged - since a day or two ago. Probably Tuesday I think.

    Very disappointed in Microsoft. Let's get a hotfix for this out ASAP!

    The workaround would not recognize my existing Microsoft account so it did not work for me. Please advise.
