same happening me. Marked as read, then showing unread. Very poor.
Issues with new outlook not marking emails as read or deleting from server when I delete them

In new outlook, I have mark emails as read as soon as they are opened. They initially show as read but the number of unread emails doesn't always reduce and if I select show all unread emails most of what I have read show as unread again. This is very frustrating as I then have to open all the emails again on my iphone to mark them as read. I also have an issue with deleting emails in New outlook as they still show as available on the server so do not delete on my other devices.

Can’t figure out how and why the default MAIL app on iPhone marks unread messages that you delete as READ automatically, yet Microsoft can’t make this simple request happen. Super frustrated because the outlook app on iPhone is amazing…. Please figure this out, Microsoft. I just want to swipe unread messages to trash while having them automatically marked as read.. just like the default mail app can do

2024-10-09T15:06:34+00:00 I am so frustrated with the new outlook!! The emails I mark as read are turning unread after a few seconds or reopening outlook. Any flags I put on emails, they disappear after some time. It feels like any of my actions on emails are not being registered. HELP PLEASE!! Been facing this since more than a month now and it has affected my productivity big time as I keep clicking on emails I have already read A THOUSAND TIMES!!!!
