hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

All of which is true. However Microsoft, just like all the other American corporations, are focused on "hits" and reaping money from the data their legal eagles have managed to justify while giving them free access to "our" data in an endless stream of license updates. Their focus is on that money and could care less about our issues.

And whose to blame? Clearly each and every one of our politicians who allow this to happen. Stay tuned, it will get worse!

I agree with all the negative comments, this new outlook is full of bugs, from signatures that are not kept in every email, to emails not sent, and autocorrect that has to be set every single time. instead of moving forward we have gone decades back with this new outlook.

Different products.

This thread's main issue is the new outlook for windows app vs the old windows mail app.

That is different from microosft 365's outlook classic vs new outlook.

That is also different from your new outlook vs Office 2021 outlook classic situation. People who purchase perpetual license of Office gets 5 years of support. You will not be pushed off from outlook classic until 2026 because you have Office 2021. People with Office 2024 won't get pushed off until 2029.

Actually I was able to get a link to a Microsoft URL for Outlook 2021 and it worked like a charm. Unfortunately I don't have the original post that I used but if you search this thread, you can probably find it. I thanked the person who posted it.

Never listen to a guy with exactly a 1 post history.

Even if you manage to install the old windows mail app back, you can`t send and receive email anymore.
