hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?
this is probably worse than the decision to remove group all at task bar and so many people refused to upgrade to win 11 because of that. what is Ms thinking?

Sorry for your loss. Surprisingly, my contacts all appear to have "carried over." You're right; they're probably buried somewhere in your devices. MS should offer some sort of assistance in this regard.
It is awful and a cynical attempt to make us pay a sub to remove the adverts!
Of more importance even than that. I have now lost access to my contacts list. They may well still be hiding in my pc but so far have not been able to locate them. If they had warned me I could at least have made a csv file. Luckily I still have them on my ipad, just need to see how I can download that. It is a terrible thing to do.
New Outlook is really bad...
I have more than 10 emails accounts and now I am being forced to use the new outlook which limit email accounts to TEN.
I need help for alternatives
Casper, I was not aware that one could still opt to use Classic Outlook. If so, please advise how. I was simply informed about ten days ago that I was being forced into New Outlook.
Classic Outlook was in my opinion not ideal, but the New Outlook is simply horrible. You of course would not know the answer to this question, but why would Microsoft decide to turn off a perfectly good app and force millions of people to use what any objective observer would agree is a simply awful alternative? Microsoft's assurance that New Outllook is "still under development" misses the whole point: why deploy it in the first place?
I am old enough to remember the "new Coke" debacle. Looks like we're in for a similar ride.
