hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

With your info I was able to confirm that classic was uninstalled when my laptop diverted to the 365.

The 365 app That replaced it did not have the button on the top - right - corner that would have aloud me to divert back. This happened after the last automatic update on my laptop.

However Jo LynneLocley provided me with a link to reinstall the outlook classic: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/xp9mhd8pgh9n47?hl=en-US&gl=US

Once I downloaded the classic from this link.. it diverted to the 365 format.

However, this time it now had the button to divert back.

I clicked the button and wooolaww I had my old windows classic platform that I love.

I'm right there with you. I just auto-renewed on December 1st. If I would have know that I was going to be forced to use the new versions they came out with I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere.

Now I have to wait a whole year to move to something else. I hate what they have done to all their platforms. It doesn't even look professional, it looks like a child's app.

I also don't have the time to relearn all the changes so when it diverted to the new platform this morning I was thrown off and it effected my bottom line. That pissed me off..

By the end of 2025 I will have everything migrated elsewhere. Something that is not an app on my computer that I have no control of.

if what you "auto-renewed" was Microsoft 365 or another version of Office that provides Classic/Legacy Outlook that's still installed and can be used

1. Verify that Classic Outlook is the default email program.
2. When you right-click New Outlook in the Start Menu, is uninstall an option? How about in Settings > Apps?

I can't believe how lacking the "new" Outlook is. There are so many features missing - this totally feels like a beta. I'm disappointed that Microsoft is no longer concerned with putting out a quality product. What they are putting out is fine for non-business use, but nowhere near where it needs to be as a viable corporate product.

what is with the web vision outlook.live.com ? i keep get logout from my link and have to login again but the microsoft.com page still stays there ? it use to change to the outlook page ?
