hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

I envision them all being in their twenties, with no concept of what it means for millions of people to spend decades learning their way around a system and how much accumulated knowledge they destroy every time they make some whiz-bang new change.

The thing is, the folks at Microsoft know that they are much, much smarter than we are, so they know better than we do what's best for us. The other thing is, they don't care at all about what we think.

I installed Thunderbird and I'm liking it a lot so far. Very, very fast and great interface.

My concern is not the performance although it certainly needs improvement. The biggest issue is functioanlity. Everything that had been working well is gone resulting in more time to get at what use to be readily available. What madness to release a product WITHOUT noting it is in Beta testing mode. None of us vvolunteered for this trash.

One has to wonder if Microsoft is seriously reviewing customer feedback before releasing any future releases. Perhaps they might also consider forced retirement for those involved in this version and bring in a whole new crew.

On the otherhand, if only there were another alternative that offered the capabilites we had previously I for one would install it immediately.

The best thing MS could do with the new Outlook is can it. It is totally useless. Can't move emails from multiple acounts to a single archive. Spam blocker doesn't work. to do and calendar no longer work on same screen.

Kill the new outlook and never casy a new UNFINISHED, DEBUGGED, FAULTY piece of **** like this on the public again (as if microsoft cares except for anything but out money.)

Moving to another email client.

Hope everyone noticed almost every reply from MS entails "yes it has bugs but we're working on it"? MS, fix it first then offer it to us.
