hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

this is probably worse than the decision to remove group all at task bar and so many people refused to upgrade to win 11 because of that. what is Ms thinking?

Sorry for my harsh comment but, the problem here is not to sell the app or make it sound nice, it's about the old UI was looking great and was not much ad in there, Microsoft needs to stop adding ads in their app, Microsoft is not google or any kid of random companies Microsoft is low developed right now for my opinion, what I have to say is New Outlook is look great not gonna lie but its glitchy and functions is weird and when I used personally it was a pain, I moved myself on ProtonMail because they not stalk my emails as Microsoft and add ''AI'' feature in my inbox to move or re-order my things what I controlled myself not a company that declares ''biggest company'' just because made Windows, I'm sorry for my harsh comment, but facts are facts and not everyone want ''AI'' in their life, our life and the time is not yet ready for ''AI'' and things like that, privacy needs to be 1# not to know my data is sold on darkweeb and losing all my information because of a big company that say ''It's for future'' as Windows 11, copilot, recall, new outlook and other services that nobody ask for something like that, if Microsoft want to be apple why not make it and hear the hate from the entire globe.

Which points to the link to this post --- which on the last post stated it doesn't work anymore.

If you like the old windows mail you can still use it with a few minutes of work.

    1. Create a batch file (I call it outlook-killer.bat)
    2. Open it in a text editor and put this (the first line uninstalls new outlook, second line launches old mail app)
      POWERSHELL Remove-AppxPackage -Package (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.OutlookForWindows).PackageFullName

    explorer.exe shell:appsFolder\microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe!microsoft.windowslive.mail

    1. Create a new shortcut
    2. Right click the shortcut, open properties and set the target to your batch file
    3. You can put the shortcut on your desktop or in the start menu, use it every time you want to open mail.

No, absolutely, MS diverts people to these channels with a promise of monitoring up votes and comments, then does what it wants anyway. I requested an option to switch off "For You" and One This Day" on OneDrive photos. Thousands of people hate it (showed me an image of my mother's death certificate). Same thing - loads of negative comments online completely ignored.

    Don Varnau,

With your info I was able to confirm that classic was uninstalled when my laptop diverted to the 365.

The 365 app That replaced it did not have the button on the top - right - corner that would have aloud me to divert back. This happened after the last automatic update on my laptop.

However Jo LynneLocley provided me with a link to reinstall the outlook classic: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/xp9mhd8pgh9n47?hl=en-US&gl=US

Once I downloaded the classic from this link.. it diverted to the 365 format.

However, this time it now had the button to divert back.

I clicked the button and wooolaww I had my old windows classic platform that I love.

Thanks to both of you ... You have save me a lot of grief...
