I have a recurring email that continues to go to "junk" when I confirm it is "safe." I use Microsoft Outlook

I do not have my email connected with my phone, so the above solution does not apply, but I have the same issues that most others have in this thread. I go to the junk email folder and send the ones I want to the inbox, then a popup comes up asks me if I don't want to have the sender to go to the junk email folder, I say yes, and the emails from the sender still goes to junk. This issue has been going on since April (first post in this thread), and Microsoft still hasn't replied!

I use a Samsung and in the email app you'd tap the three lines at the top right. this opens up a menu but also at the top you'll see a settings gear... Tap on that. Then once you're in the email setting, there is a "Spam Addresses" option. open that and look for the email address you're having issues with.

I found a remedy. I found that my own email was on a "junk" list on my phone, and since I use IMAP it would send that same email, in all my devices, to the junk or spam folder. Once I corrected this on my phone, it was corrected everywhere.

This is actually the cause of the problem! Fix your junk mail list on your phone, that's where the fault is!

Thank you very much for figuring this one out!

Unbelievable! It acutally worked. Thank you very much! I had no idea my phone was the cause of the problem!

This is obviously a bug that Microsoft has yet to address. I have the same problem. I add the sender email to the safe list and it still goes in junk. I add the sender email as a contact and it still goes in junk. So frustrating.
