I cannot spellcheck in the new outlook 20231215008.08 . The editor is greyed out in the edit options. I have edge as my default browser and the MS editor ext in edge. Keep in mind I am talking about the New Outlook APP, but I am unsure if it feeds off od edge settings for the app.

This is only for the browser ver. if you are paying 365 you can contact Microsoft. The steps above do work for the browser version NOT the 365 version.
New Outlook (Microsoft 365 Enterprise)
Production Version: 1.2024.625.600
Client Version: 20240628004.14
These steps do nothing to enable the editor features of the "New Outlook" the one that you turn on by clicking the slider at the top of Office 365 Outlook. I like this new version, attachments work so much smoother than in the previous version. However, while little red squiggly lines appear under misspelled words there is no right click fix, no F7 spellcheck, no menu option to do a grammar check.
I've had to resort at times to typing my message in Word and then copy paste into Outlook. No, I do not want to use the web browser version (that version pushes you to use One Drive for all attachments, some places I send attachments do not allow external One Drive access).
Please fix this properly.
For all of you trying to go to General -> Privacy and data -> the setting to enable does not exist.
Oh for the online version, it is a Premium Upgrade of $6.99 per month to add advanced grammar functionality.
I have Windows 10, family Microsoft 365. Nothing is working for my Spell Check in New Outlook. I have the same problems as stated above in paragraph one. Privacy notices do not even appear. Many people said, "the fix worked for them" well it does not for me and it's very frustrating as I am a terrible speller. I can't believe that this has been going on so long and Microsoft has not fixed it by now. I just updated everything a few days ago...still no spell check in New Outlook. Has anyone with Win 10, 365 family, & New Outlook had a real solution? Thanks.

Enable Turn on experiences that analyze your content.
This fixed it for me. No idea how that setting got changed or if its new or something.

I am frustrated. No luck with Spell check. All these Privacy settings were turned on already. I have New Outlook in Windows 10 (not 11), and Microsoft 365. I never had this problem before I changed to New Outlook. Am I the only one that this fix does not work for?
